New touchscreen-compatible work gloves from Brass Knuckle

Brass Knuckle SmartCut BKCRT201 Gloves

With mobile communications technology becoming more ingrained in nearly every industry, the chances of needing to use a touchscreen on the job are high.

The Brass Knuckle company recently released new work gloves that allow wearers to utilize their touchscreen devices without having to take off their gloves.

The SmartCut BKCRT201 Gloves feature specially-designed fingertips that allow for the use of touchscreen devices while providing all the safety and durability needed on the job. When workers can keep their gloves on to handle screen work, they don’t have to remember to put them back on -- a win for safety compliance, the company said.

In addition to their touchscreen capability, the gloves are premier medium-duty gloves for applications requiring cut resistance and dexterity. The ultra-high molecular-weight polyethylene fiber offers ANSI cut resistance level 2 protection, and the thinner, 13-gauge material facilitates dexterity. Gripping is further enhanced by a non-sticky polyurethane (PU) coating on the palm and fingers, which also enhances puncture protection and abrasion resistance.

The gloves’ uncoated back and wrist also improve ventilation. A seamless and stretchable full knit wrist provides a snug fit and prevents dirt, debris, and cold from getting inside the glove. Color-coded cuffs easily indicate glove size.
