Digital broker Convoy lands $400M investment
Convoy, the app-based freight brokerage, announced Wednesday it has secured a $400 million Series D round of funding, which the company says will be used to “accelerate the development” of features for its freight-matching system. Convoy so far has raised more than $668 million in funding since its 2015 launch.

Love’s opens new Georgia, South Carolina locations
Love’s Travel Stops this week announced it has opened two new locations in Calhoun, Georgia, and Elgin, South Carolina.

The Georgia store is located off of I-75 at exit 283. It offers 93 truck parking spaces, Burger King and Subway restaurants, nine diesel lanes, seven showers, a Speedco location on-site, and more.

The South Carolina location sits off of I-20 and offers 103 truck parking spaces, an Arby’s restaurant, six diesel lanes, eight showers, a Speedco on-site, and more.
