A fire early Friday, Jan. 25, destroyed a truck stop and diner off I-40 in Oklahoma.
Ed’s Truck Stop, home to Ed’s Diner, located on U.S. 64 at exit 311 off I-40 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, between Oklahoma City and Fort Smith is a total loss, according to a report by KFSM-TV.
No injuries were reported, and the fire was extinguished before it reached the fuel pumps.
KFSM said the truck stop “is known for its 1950s-style diner, which featured classic memorabilia and a 1946 Lincoln Continental convertible.”
