Loveâs opens new Texas, Iowa truck stops
The Mills County, Iowa, truck stop has 60 truck parking spaces, a Subway restaurant, laundry facilities and five showers. The Alma store has 138 truck parking spaces; Chesterâs Chicken, Godfatherâs Pizza and Subway restaurants; laundry facilities; and eight showers.

Seven Connecticut rest areas with more than 200 truck parking spots on chopping block
Connecticut DOT spokesman Kevin Nursick said his department conducted a study several years ago that revealed a truck parking deficit of 1,200 spaces each night. The seven rest areas under threat of closure offer truckers a total of 222 parking spaces that could be lost.

Pilot Flying J looks to add more stores, expand parking availability notices in 2018
Pilot Flying J intends to open 20 new locations this year and continue renovating existing stores. The company is also looking to expand its parking availability notification system, which it began testing last year on the West Coast.
