After a nearly three-week, 3,000-mile journey across the country, owner-operator Larry Spiekermeier of the Billings, Montana-based Whitewood Transport delivered Monday the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree. Spiekermeier hauled the tree behind a specially decorated Kenworth T680.

During its journey from Montana to the nation’s capital, the tree will make stops in communities in Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Missouri and Kentucky before completing the trip on Monday, Nov. 27, when it will be delivered to the U.S. Capitol.
