In worst cases, lessee truck operators are set up to fail. In its third meeting, FMCSA's task force examined impacts of restrictive maintenance terms in truck lease-purchases. The panel also planned for a potential meeting/public forum at MATS in March.

Custom-built 1980 Peterbilt 359
Dave Tompkins out of Scranton, Pennsylvania, had this custom Peterbilt built by Kevin Love of Stretch Customs out of Wingham, Ontario. While not a trucker now, Tompkins has always had a love of trucks and wanted to have one to take to truck shows.
