We are running through the videos from the No. 30 to the No. 1 most-viewed Pride & Polish video. Plans for a 2020 event are currently on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Up this week at No. 10 is Gary Salisbury’s 1979 Kenworth W900A, which was shown at the 2011 Great American Trucking Show Pride & Polish. When Salisbury bought the truck from its original owner, it had 3 million miles on it.
The paint scheme is the same as the original one. It has a Caterpillar 3406A engine with 400 horsepower. Salisbury took out the original 9-speed transmission and put in a 13-speed double overdrive.
The truck won first in antique combo at the 2011 GATS Pride & Polish.
