Josh Skidmore’s 2016 Peterbilt 389 won top billing in the Working Bobtail category.
The sixth annual Overdrive‘s Pride & Polish National Championship takes place next month in Dallas at the Great American Trucking Show. Six show trucks and their owners will walk away as champs in the 2015-2016 season, concluding a year-long run that began at last August’s GATS.
Here are the national champion finalists in the Limited-Mileage Combo category:
Josh Skidmore’s 2016 Peterbilt 389 won Best of Show, Limited-Mileage Bobtail at the 2015 Great American Trucking Show. The truck also won Best of Show, Limited-Mileage Combo at the PDI Pride & Polish held last October.Sid Calangelo’s and Kyle Cousins’ 2015 Kenworth W900L won Best of Show, Limited-Mileage Bobtail at last year’s PDI Pride & Polish, held in Utah. The truck also won Best of Show, Working Bobtail at this year’s 75 Chrome Shop Show.Perennial Pride & Polish show truck competitors Doug Jameson and James Williams picked up the Best of Show, Limited-Mileage Bobtail nod in April at the 75 Chrome Shop Pride & Polish show with their 2015 Peterbilt 389, qualifying the rig to compete in the National Championship next month.Tom Davis of Davis Bros. Trucking won Best of Show, Limited-Mileage Bobtail at the Fitzgerald Glider Kits Pride & Polish show held in July.
