You might have heard of ways that intermodal dry van boxes have been recycled for commercial or residential use. If not, here’s a gallery of 10 photos to give you a quick idea.

One of the most ambitious such projects is expected to open next month in Las Vegas. The Downtown Container Park will function as a business incubator , providing entrepreneurs with small spaces to launch a business. The park will have 30-plus occupants: bars, restaurants, retail space, a children’s play area, and more.

In addition to using the shipping containers, it will use Xtreme Cubes, which are locally made metal boxes.
