Black Betty
Uploaded by : Keith Rudowicz This is a photo of my truck that I named Black Betty. She is a 2003 Peterbilt 379 Extened Hood with a 6NZ Cat motor, 18 speed tranny and a 312” wheelbase. I’ve had the truck for 2 years and have been doin some customizing to it with a lot of help from a local shop called Explosive Kustoms. It has Badass Customs front bumper, front fenders and rear fenders. A custom made blue frame cover, I-panel and shock cover box from Talladega Fiberglass and a rear center panel with air/electric hookups from Iowa Customs. There is a 12 Gauge Customs Gen 3 front airride and lift bumper kit on the truck to get it within a inch of the ground when lowered. The truck has close to 200 lights including the trailer and red/blue dual function under glow lighting by Trux. I have started on the interior painting the dash and panels to match the outside, new door panels, steering wheels, tall shifter, recovering the sleeper walls and adding a 40” TV. This truck is a dream of mine to have and be able to drive everyday. I haul flatbed freight in the Midwest, South and Southeast in what I like to call a grown mans hotrod.
