The BigRoad company and its DashLink ELD, which pairs an engine-connection device with an operator’s smartphone or tablet, today announced the launch of the BigRoad Referral Program. BigRoad users can earn a $75 reward for each friend they refer to BigRoad who purchases a DashLink ELD. The friend will also earn a $25 welcome reward for becoming a new BigRoad customer.
The program’s not limited to current BigRoad DashLink subscribers — the referral program the company describes as “open to the public. … Anyone is able to participate as a referrer.” For owner-operators, the company views it as one way to potentially “offset the financial burden of electronic logging devices.”
For rewards to be delivered, the customer referred must sign up for a one-year contract paid up-front. BigRoad’s DashLink product is available for no initial hardware cost, with subscription fees at $19.50 monthly for 1-2-truck owner-operators. Those interested in participating in the program can start by visiting BigRoad.com/rewards.
Rewards will be issued through digital reward company Tango Card, redeemable for e-gift cards at 75 retailers, pre-paid Visa cards or charitable donations in your name. There are no limitations to the reward amounts a program participant can earn, BigRoad says.
