This 1994 Peterbilt 379 EXHD is owned by Shawn Ackley, owner of one-truck operation Shawn Ackley Trucking. The rig sports a 425-hp Cat 3406C tuned up to about 560-hp with an 18-speed Eaton-Fuller with 3:55 rears. The truck sits on a 265-inch wheelbase and features a number of chrome accessories. Ackley pulls a 2018 Great Dane dual temperature reefer powered by two Thermo King units. The trailer has a fixed spread axle with a 12-foot spread. Ackley is based out of Lititz, Pennsylvania and runs the lower 48, but primarily focuses on the Pacific Northwest and Southwest, hauling LTL groceries outbound and, depending on the region, LTL back east or load a truckload to get back home and start over.
