Professional truck racer Stuart Oliver out of England picked up the points-earning race in the third Meritor ChampTruck World Series race of the series’ inaugural season, held May 29-31 at the Pikes Peak raceway in Colorado.

Oliver is a 10-time truck racing champion in the British truck racing circuit, and he drove ChampTruck’s company show racer, the No. 31 Freightliner, in the weekend’s events.

Stunt truck driver and racer Mike Ryan, one of the founding partners of ChampTruck, said Oliver also spent the weekend relaying his knowledge of trucking racing equipment and driving to other teams in the field.

Below are photos from the weekend races from photographer Matt Brown and video from Minimizer, who has two teams competing in the 2015 series. The next ChampTruck race weekend takes place at the Charlotte Motor Speedway July 4 weekend.

Stay tuned for more ChampTruck coverage this week and next:
