After sweeping up Overdrive‘s Pride & Polish awards for not only Best of Show victories but also in paint, interior and engine categories the last two years in Las Vegas and in California, Ryan Hooten’s 1995 Peterbilt 379 hay hauler combo (shown by Tommy Larsen) and Yamko Truck Lines’ 2009 Peterbilt 388 (shown by John Gonzalez) showed strong once again at Pride & Polish’s first stop at the PDI Dyno and Customer Appreciation Show, held at Performance Diesel Inc.’s St. George, Utah, headquarters.

Larsen and Gonzalez, along with Josh Skidmore and his ’07 379 and Paul Marcotte and his ’99 379 and Heil tanker combo, punched their tickets to compete in the 2013 National Championship judging round at the 2013 Great American Trucking Show in Dallas in August. They will be going head to head in a final round of judging against the Best of Show winners from the 2012 Great American Trucking Show, 2012 Charlotte Diesel Super Show, the 2013 Great West Truck Show and the 2013 75 Chrome Shop show.
