After following GPS up an Oregon mountain service road and getting stuck, trucker walks four days out of the forest
Itâs certainly a GPS-snafu story, but Jacob Cartwrightâs is also a story of determination, given the distance traveled out on foot and the spirit to continue after what had to be, days into the trek, a growing sense he might not make it.

Camaraderie, support along the long road
Truckersâ and law enforcement recent teamwork in Michigan to talk down/raise the floor under a bridge jumper is one of those events that show what is possible when folks come together in a single individualâs moment of need. Depression and sometimes resulting suicidal ideation and action on it are no joke; there are avenues to help out there.

For most new independent owner-ops, emphasizes Kevin Rutherford in this edition of Overdrive Radio, the customer (fundamentally the entity that pays your business for its service) is one, a few or several brokers.
