The company has yet to issue a formal announcement, but a source familiar with the situation confirmed to CCJ Wednesday the Burr Ridge, Illinois-based fleet's closure. According to CCJ data, Dillon owned 323 trucks and employed 341 drivers.

FMCSA adds reporting requirement with extension of COVID HOS waiver
Carriers will now be required to report monthly on their use of the emergency declaration that waives Part 395.3 (maximum driving time) of the FMCSRs for drivers and carriers providing emergency relief related to the pandemic.

Steel company seeks second hours waiver from FMCSA
Cleveland-Cliffs Steel, formerly known as ArcelorMittal Indiana Harbor, is petitioning the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for a waiver to allow certain drivers to work up to 16 hours a day and return to work without a full 10 hours off-duty.
