As previously reported, January 31 marked the end of tech support operations for users of the Zed ELD service, which announced it was shuttering the business late last year. The end of this month marks the end of functionality for the Zed ELD app, and the HOS247 company says it’s offering those who continue to use the Zed ELD four free months’ worth of a subscription to its own ELD service — HOS247 offers to replace Zed users’ hardware without the need for further investment, and offered a similar deal to users of the One20 ELD when it shuttered just months following the electronic logging device mandate last year.

Dzmitry Kukharau, founder and CEO of HOS247, notes the company has “already experienced a large influx of users after Zed Connect ended all technical support for electronic logging devices on January 3. We expect even more customers to switch to our platform when the ZED ELD mobile application will stop working at the end of this month.”

At the end of the four-month subscription for users migrating to HOS247, the company says is basic “ELD Compliance Plan” starts at $17 per month and comes with multilingual support and a dedicated account manager.

Optional GPS Fleet Tracking and IFTA miles reporting are available. The offer is available through April 8.
