Two fleets have recently announced pay increases for company drivers.
FFE Transportation Services, based in Lancaster, Texas, will raise driver pay across-the-board for company drivers and owner-operators beginning April 2. Hourly rates for local drivers, as well as per-mile rates for regional and over-the-road drivers will increase. The company’s pay is based on experience and location, and a full list of the new rates can be found here.
Carroll Fulmer Logistics (No. 183 on the CCJ Top 250) also recently announced a bump in driver pay. The Groveland, Fla.-based fleet is raising starting pay for regional drivers by 3 cents-per-mile, while starting pay for over-the-road drivers is increasing by 5 cents-per-mile.
