Kinedyne will host a cargo securement webinar on Tuesday, May 30, to help owner-operators and fleets prepare for CVSA’s International Roadcheck, set for June 6-8.Kinedyne, manufacturer of cargo securement devices for the trucking industry, will host a cargo securement webinar later this month in advance of the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s International Roadcheck in early June.
The webinar is slated to be part of the inaugural International Cargo Securement Awareness Month ongoing through May. The free cargo securement regulation training webinar will be held Tuesday, May 30, from 2-3 p.m. Eastern time.
The webinar will be titled “A Survivor’s Guide for Cargo Securement Inspections During International Roadcheck 2017,” with the goal of reducing infractions related to cargo securement during the June 6-8 inspection blitz. Owner-operators and fleets can register for the free webinar here.
The company says the webinar will provide “an in-depth understanding of FMCSA regulations” and how they impact International Roadcheck conformity. The webinar will also touch on dealing with the Canadian market and with the country’s own cargo securement regulations.
CVSA’s International Roadcheck will consist primarily of Level I inspections, but inspectors will key in on cargo securement during the 72-hour event.
