The Ice Road Truckers head to a new location, the Himalayas, to face some of the most difficult and dangerous routes in the world in the History Channel show’s new season, beginning Oct. 3.
IRT: Deadliest Roads pits drivers against a continent with the world’s highest mountain ranges where the rules of the road don’t apply. The job means transporting goods between small villages while battling miles of historical trade routes and close-calls in the process, the show’s producers say.
Truckers Lisa Kelly, Rick Yemm and Alex Deborgorski will be taking on the challenge of braving these elements.
