Pilot to buy 7 Bosselman stores

Pilot Flying J will purchase seven Bosselman travel centers in Iowa, Kansas, South Dakota and Nebraska, the travel plaza franchises announced.

The acquisition comes from a 2004 agreement between the two travel center chains in which Bosselman used Pilot’s trademark at several of the locations to be purchased.

Pilot plans to add fast food services, diesel exhaust fluid available at the pump, a loyalty program, and enhanced showers and remodeled restrooms at some of the stops. Pilot also plans to add Bosselman’s truck repair shops, called Boss Truck Shops, at 20 Pilot locations.
