Boyd Bros. raises pay 1 cent

A 1-cent pay raise for drivers is in now in effect, Boyd Bros. Transportation announced.

All drivers will now receive an additional 1 cent on every paid mile. In addition to the pay increase, the Clayton, Ala.-based flatbed carrier also announced an increase in tarp and detention pay to $20 and $18 per load, respectively. The company also increased its 401k plan benefits.
