I-40 lanes in Ark. reopened

I-40 lanes in both directions in Arkansas have been reopened after being closed last week from flooding.

The westbound lanes were reopened Wednesday, May 11, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department reported. A 23-mile segment of westbound lanes was closed and traffic was forced to take a 120-mile detour. Eastbound lanes were reopened May 9.
